National Science Foundation | Graduate Research Fellowship Program

The NSF GRFP “provides three years of support for the graduate education of individuals who have demonstrated their potential for significant research achievements in STEM or STEM education.”

National Institutes of Health | Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (F31)

The NIH F31 aims to “enhance the diversity of health-related research workforce by supporting the research training of predoctoral students.”

National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship

The U.S. Department of Defense offers fellowships “to individuals who have demonstrated the ability and special aptitude for advanced training in science and engineering.”

Office of Science | Graduate Fellowship Program

Sponsored by the Department of Energy, the Office of Science Graduate Fellowship Program supports “outstanding students who are pursuing graduate training in basic research in areas of physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, computational sciences, and environmental sciences.”
